The OOH Media Plan Awards program honors efficient and effective out of home media plans that maximize the synergies between media and creative strategies within an available budget.
Eligibility for the 2018 OOH Media Plan Awards competition requires that paid advertising was displayed on an out of home advertising display at some point between July 1, 2017 and June 30, 2018. Identical advertisements displayed during the previous year, but entered in any prior Media Plan Awards competition are ineligible.
For an advertisement to qualify for a Media Plan Award, the advertiser (or its agency) will have made payment for the unit space directly to an out of home media company owning or operating the structure, the only exception being public service advertisements. Illegal installations or entries that do not comply with these guidelines may be declared ineligible.
From the finalists chosen, Silver and Gold OOH Media Plan Awards will be selected. One finalist will be chosen to receive the Insights OOH Media Plan Award, a special recognition for outstanding use of Geopath OOH audience data. The highest scoring entry will win the top honor - Media Plan of the Year.
The Call for Entry for the 2018 OOH Media Plan Awards is open through August 10, 2018. Submissions can be entered here.
Submissions must be received by August 10, 2018.
Finalists will be announced October 15, 2018.
The Awards will be presented in conjunction with The Advertising Club of New York’s annual OOH: NOW event in New York City, to be held this year on December 5.
