A Night Celebrating OOH in the Heart of Times Square

Since 2019, OAAA and Geopath have co-hosted a welcome reception for industry leaders attending Out of Home New York (formerly Digital Signage Week). This year, the event saw record attendance, thanks in no small part to our partners Reveal Mobile and Vistar Media.

The R Lounge at the Renaissance Times Square Hotel was the perfect setting to celebrate the impressive impact of OOH, surrounded by Times Square’s iconic OOH displays.

As we look to further understand OOH’s true impact, OAAA and Reveal Mobile used the occasion to announce a new partnership to revolutionize the way we measure industry-wide PSA initiatives. Starting with Ad Council campaigns in 2024, Reveal Mobile will use their location-based marketing solutions to help the industry quantify the tangible influence of billboards and public service announcements, making advertising campaigns more actionable.

“We appreciate OAAA’s dedication to the cause of not just lifting revenue but also doing the hard work around best practices, policies, and guidelines.”

Meanwhile, Vistar Media elevated the event’s spirit, both figuratively and literally. Their signature cocktail – the Vistar Velocity – not only delighted the taste buds but also symbolized their unique contribution to the OOH space. It was a reminder of how Vistar Media blends creativity with data-driven strategies to offer refreshing programmatic solutions.

“Out of Home New York features great events, including the OAAA reception, which bring the entire OOH industry together. These moments provide an opportunity for the OOH industry to foster collaboration between buyers and media owners, to learn, brainstorm and cultivate new innovations in person.”

Leslie Lee SVP of Marketing at Vistar Media

The collaboration of these two giants at the reception hinted at a future where OOH advertising is not just seen but also felt, measured, and celebrated. Cheers to the advancements of today that shape the successes of tomorrow!
