Dentsu Aegis Network CEO Americas Nick Brien has been confirmed as the Keynote Speaker at this year’s OAAA\Geopath OOH Media Conference + Expo to be held at the Aria Las Vegas May 20-22, 2019.
The annual OOH Media Conference + Expo is the largest education and networking event for professionals and suppliers in the out of home (OOH) advertising industry.
Dentsu Aegis Network is the fastest growing agency network and owner of Posterscope, a leading global location-based marketing specialist.
OAAA’s Chief Marketing Officer Stephen Freitas said, “Nick Brien is a highly respected agency executive, having held leadership positions at iCrossing, McCann Worldgroup and IPG Mediabrands. His insights into today’s agency landscape, with a focus on consumer engagement in a digital facing world, will educate and enlighten conference attendees from across the advertising spectrum.”
Brien also serves on the OUTFRONT Media Board of Directors. OUTFRONT Media CEO and Chairman Jeremy Male commented, “Nick is a dynamic media executive with keen insights about the global and US media landscape. As both a deep thinker and an engaging presenter, I expect he will provide a terrific keynote at the OAAA\Geopath OOH Media Conference + Expo, and I look forward to hearing him share his perspectives, especially as they relate to our industry.”
Additional speakers scheduled to present include Mike Benson, head of marketing at Amazon Studios, and Rishad Tobaccowala, chief growth officer at Publicis Groupe.
Brand marketers will sit on a panel to discuss why they use OOH and how it can boost branding and revenue for start-ups. Panelists include Will Flaherty with Ro, a tech healthcare startup; Terri Rockovich with Outdoor Voices, an athleisure fashion line; and Sharon Sperber with Eaze, an online marketplace for cannabis delivery.
A series of workshops proposed and planned by experts in marketing, tech, and OOH will follow four tracks: business insights, data, analytics, and thought leadership.
Shelley Zalis, CEO of The Female Quotient, will bring her Girls’ Lounge to the conference, which offers a pop-up experience to activate inclusivity and equality. Known for its presence at Cannes Lions and Advertising Week, The Girls’ Lounge will offer insights from female CEOs, including OAAA’s Nancy Fletcher.
Fletcher commented, “This year we will honor all that the OOH and advertising communities have achieved and continue to move forward, including advancements in inclusivity, innovation, and inventive creativity.”
Top OOH leaders will be recognized with presentation of the OOH Industry Awards, and the best of the best in OOH creativity and design will be celebrated at the 2019 OBIE Awards.
Networking events will bring together friends and colleagues to celebrate OOH’s relevancy, success, and value in today’s advertising marketplace while exhibitors demonstrate the latest in OOH innovation and services in an expansive expo.
This OOH all-star event will take place at the ARIA Las Vegas, described in Popular Mechanics as possibly “the most technologically advanced hotel ever built.” Learn more about the ARIA.
