WASHINGTON, D.C. — January 22, 2026 — The Out of Home Advertising Association of America (OAAA), the national trade association representing the out of home (OOH) advertising industry, today announced applications are now open for its 2026 Future Leaders Program, inviting emerging professionals to apply to shape the future of OOH advertising. Up to ten selected applicants will receive a sponsored trip to the 2026 OOH Media Conference, taking place May 11–13 in Dallas, Texas.
“Out of home has always been powered by people, and if we want a strong future for OOH, we have to invest in the people behind it,” said Patrick Dolan, Chief Operating Officer of OAAA. “The Future Leaders Program is about opening doors and giving the next generation real access, real mentorship, and real experience so they can help carry the industry forward in meaningful ways.”
Now in its third year, the Future Leaders Program is a flagship initiative of OAAA’s OOH UNITED committee, and focuses on investing in and developing the next generation of out of home leaders. The 2026 program brings together young professionals from across the OOH ecosystem, selected for their leadership potential, commitment to community, innovative achievement, and professional accomplishments.
Selected participants will take part in a structured mentorship experience that connects them with established leaders across the OOH ecosystem. The program is designed to nurture emerging talent, strengthen leadership skills, and help build a future-ready pipeline of OOH leaders.

Application Requirements
Submissions are open to new or existing OAAA company members under 40 years of age who have not previously attended the OOH Media Conference and are willing to travel and participate in this year’s event and actively contribute to OOH UNITED programming. Applicants must have at least 3 years of OOH experience in any industry sector, including but not limited to agencies, media owners, production partners, and technology companies. Those selected will be notified in late March.
