OAAA Independent Advisory Group Quarterly Update
OOH posted another strong year in 2024, surpassing the $9 billion mark for the first time with local OOH comprising about 65% of the total. To build on this success, our Independent Advisory Group is very excited to share the final program details for the OAAA Independents’ Summit on May 5 from 2:30 – 5:30 pm.
We’ve scheduled the Summit not to overlap other important conference programming, so we encourage you to arrive in Boston no later than noon that Monday. There will be three main program tracks designed to help you build on the success of your OOH business:
- Audience Measurement
- National Sales
- Programmatic
Each will include a panel of subject matter experts followed by roundtable sessions where Summit attendees can brainstorm with one another and pose questions to the experts. You can review the full Summit agenda here. There is no additional cost for the Summit as it’s included as part of your OAAA OOH Media Conference registration. We’re grateful to Adkom/Blip for their sponsorship of the Summit and they’ll be providing all participants with a giveaway.
Because local OOH is such a critical component of our overall industry success, I want to encourage you to also attend the annual OAAA/Geopath Local Case Study Awards presentations on the main stage on Wednesday, May 7th, at 8:45 am. These winning cases always offer excellent insights on building client success in our highly competitive local ad marketplaces. In fact, you can access over 300 local case studies currently in the OAAA Case Study Library through this link. There’s even a sort by KPI function, such as “increase social media engagement”, to quickly find studies directly related to your own clients’ KPIs.
The OAAA Independent Advisory Group is looking forward to seeing you in Boston and sharing the exciting Summit programming we’ve planned. I want to express my thanks to the entire Group for their input in shaping the program, and especially Gina Stratford – YESCO and Pudge Roberts – Coastal Outdoor.
As always, please reach out to me, or our OAAA staff liaisons, Mike Hershey ([email protected]) and Steve Nicklin ([email protected]) with your ideas on topics you’d like to see addressed in OAAA conference programming, webinars and other content.
Let’s make 2025 another record year for OOH and safe travels to Boston!
