Advocacy & Billboards
The Democratic National Committee (DNC) launched a billboard campaign to spotlight what they feel will be adverse health care impacts of the new federal spending and tax law. The ads are being placed near rural hospitals in Columbus, IN; Silex, MO; Missoula, MT; and Stilwell, OK, with additional ad buys likely in other states.
Federal – OSHA
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) issued new guidance related to workplace safety fines. In trying to help more small businesses comply with complex workplace rules, OSHA and the U.S. Dept. of Labor raised the threshold – from 10 to 25 employees – for businesses that might be eligible for penalty relief and reductions.

Bedford was the longtime CEO of Republic Airways, a regional air carrier for several major airlines.
