 Kerry Yoakum From Ohio DOT
Joins OAAA Staff

(Washington, DC) – The Outdoor Advertising Association of America (OAAA) announced today the addition of Kerry Yoakum, formerly the Administrator of the Office of Contracts at the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT), to OAAA’s staff, effective immediately.

Yoakum’s title is Vice-President of Government Affairs. He is part of OAAA’s legislative team and he is focusing on state and local issues.

“Kerry brings with him a wealth of experience, especially in the state regulatory arena,” said Nancy Fletcher, OAAA president and CEO. “We believe he will be a valuable addition to OAAA’s legislative team.”

An attorney, Yoakum worked at ODOT since 2002. His responsibilities included the state’s outdoor advertising control program, management of contracts, and the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise program. Yoakum has been active in the leadership of the National Alliance of Highway Beautification Agencies, a state regulators’ group.

After service in the US Army Infantry, Yoakum earned his undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University in 1993, and a law degree from Capitol University in 1997.
