Agency Win Attributed to Bold Strategic and Innovative Creative Approach

MAY 8, 2018, NEW YORK – The Outdoor Advertising Association of America (OAAA), names Publicis New York as agency-of-record (AOR), effective immediately. Publicis New York won in a confidential, multi-agency review. OAAA is the national trade association for the out of home (OOH) advertising industry, and the association represents more than 90 percent of the U.S. OOH industry based on revenues. OAAA is based in Washington, DC.

OAAA is building a reputation for bold marketing initiatives, including the recent Times Square takeover shout-out to Oscar-winner Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri. Modern OOH is seeing a renaissance, with its unique ability to adapt quickly to culture, news and events, with the added attention-grab of marquee placement and dynamic creative.

Stephen Freitas, CMO, OAAA, said, “OOH is a flourishing ad medium, consistently proving its effectiveness in today’s dynamic media market. Together with Publicis New York, we will continue to demonstrate OOH’s capabilities in a digital media world and its vital role as a core media buy.”

Publicis New York will be responsible for OAAA’s U.S. campaign, promoting the usage of OOH media to the advertising industry. Appropriately, the anticipated media elements will focus primarily on OOH, including digital OOH, and are expected to launch Mid-September.
