Zoom Active Lifestyle Marketing Honored with Ad Council’s Crystal Bell Award
Date: May 12, 2015
NEW YORK, May 13, 2015 – Zoom Active Lifestyle Marketing was recognized with the Ad Council’s Crystal Bell award at today’s OAAA\TAB National Convention + Expo, the out of home (OOH) advertising industry’s premier annual gathering, in San Diego. Each year, this award is presented to one OOH advertising company for its extraordinary contributions to Ad Council’s public service campaigns.
The Ad Council, a national non-profit organization, is the largest producer of public service campaigns in the U.S. Through partnerships with non-profit organizations and federal government agencies, the Ad Council works to drive change on public issues through PSAs and innovative communications programs. All Ad Council campaigns are aired and run in donated media time and space. The OOH advertising industry ranks among the Ad Council’s top supporters, providing more than $260 million in donated space in 2014.
The Crystal Bell Award was presented to Zoom Active Lifestyle Marketing for its exceptional generosity, leadership, and commitment to driving change around social issues. Over the last year, Zoom has provided placements on its fitness and social networks for campaigns including Caregiver Assistance, Financial Literacy, Buzzed Driving Prevention, Recycling, Children’s Oral Health, Learning and Attention Issues, and Discovering Nature. Zoom also provided special support of the Ad Council’s Shelter Pet Adoption video, which was aired to gym-users across the U.S.
“We’re extremely grateful to all of our OOH advertising partners for their ongoing support of our campaigns,” said Lisa Sherman, President and CEO, the Ad Council. “Our partnership with Zoom helps us to target families and individuals through their lifestyle behaviors – in active environments and family centers across the U.S., and has been a critical component in driving awareness.”
“We are very proud to support the Ad Council,” said François de Gaspé Beaubien, Chairman and Chief Coaching Officer, Zoom Active Lifestyle Marketing. “Their messages get all of us to question public issues; they inspire us to change, to seek to make the world a better place. Indeed, they strive to improve lives. I can think of no greater nor nobler calling, and I urge all of us in the media to help them disseminate their campaigns.”
