Digital Billboards Help in Search for Missing U.Va. Student Hannah Elizabeth Graham

WASHINGTON, D.C., Sept. 22, 2014 – Expanding the search for University of Virginia student Hannah Elizabeth Graham, her photo now appears on digital billboards in Virginia along with a toll-free number for tips from the public.
Responding to a request from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), the Outdoor Advertising Association of America (OAAA) activated an endangered missing persons alert on 12 donated full-color digital billboards in Fredericksburg, Richmond, Hampton, Newport News, Colonial Heights and Hopewell. Graham, 18, has been missing since September 13.

The out of home adverting industry has a long history of working with law enforcement and nonprofit organizations in the search for endangered missing persons. Since 2008, OAAA has partnered with NCMEC to display more than 1,100 AMBER Alerts for abducted children.

Anyone with information regarding Graham’s whereabouts should call (434) 295-3851 or 1-800-THE-LOST.
