Hoosier Outdoor Advertising President Attends White House Event for Small Business Owners

Date: February 26, 2001

On Tuesday, February 6, Leo Hickman, president of Hoosier Outdoor Advertising (Bloomington, IN) was one of just 120 invited to the White House to attend an event for small business owners.

The meeting with President Bush, his top economic advisors, and other small business owners was held to discuss the President’s campaign promise to bring fairness to the tax code, especially for small businesses.

The President’s briefing included the specifics of the White House plan for spurring economic and job growth and cutting taxes, as well as an agenda to tear down the high tax barriers that keep low income Americans from accessing the middle class.

We applaud Leo for being selected as one of 120 small businessmen throughout the nation to attend this special White House briefing.
